Pay attention that on the "Contests" page the October schedule is available. Key dates are:
  • Oct. 7 - Codeforces Beta Round #33
  • Oct. 11 - Codeforces Beta Round #34 (Div. 2)
  • Oct. 19 - Codeforces Beta Round #35 (Div. 2) and Codeforces Beta Round #36
  • Oct. 25 - Codeforces Beta Round #37
  • Oct. 30 - Codeforces Beta Round #38 (ACM-ICPC Rules)
Now from the contests page you can go directly to the link to  timeanddate.com to see the beginning of a contest in your time zone

Look for updates - it can be changed and widen.

Wish you high rating,
MikeMirzayanov and the Codeforces team

Great news. Thanks!

But what about the (ACM-ICPC Rules)? Is it the old Codeforces format?

You just forgot to translate that sign like N between #35 and #36. Does that mean 'and' in Russian?

Putting this schedule in your blog was a great idea.
It was very nice of you.

@احمد علي:
Here's ACM-ICPC rules:

And I have another question:
Python and C# are not available in ACM. can we use them in round #38?
Is round #38 a rated event?

I think C# and Python will be available. ACM-ICPC rules means only rating system.

So it will be 1 problem - 1 point plus penalty for time and wrong solution submits.

    Nice calendar!)
But you would not be able to update it already because there is schedule for November!

Gah... I didn't realize that registration closed so early before a contest...

Three remarks:

First, I think it's great that we can finally see several contests in advance. That's something we've needed for a while, and I really appreciate it!

Second, can the registration period please be extended back to like normal, when we could register as long as the contest was visible? I woke up today at 7:48AM, not realizing that the contest registration period had closed 3 minutes earlier (I had been unable to register previously). I was so sad!

I was thinking that a nice alternative would be to create a room for late registrars (say if you came in halfway through). I realize, however, that this might be more difficult than it sounds, and that you guys probably have other priorities.

Third, and I doubt I will have any affect by saying this since this site is centered in Russia, but can we have some more love for us over on the US west coast? You guys often do contests at 7PM (your time - 8am my time); if you could bump that back to 8PM (9am my time) that would be so helpful to people like me because 8am is so hard to wake up for - it's barely getting light out - but 9am is great. I also don't see that this could really hurt people over in Russia, since a 1 hour time difference is not that great towards the afternoon.

Contests scheduled from 1PM to say 5PM are basically inaccessible for me (and most of us in the US), but luckily I don't see too many of those.

Last, I really appreciate the website codeforces and all the work you guys are doing to make it good. It's great to have an alternative to topcoder, and I think that given time this website could really give topcoder a run for their money.

Pretty cool! Just one doubt,  "out of competition" will be available for Division 1 participants in rounds #34 and #35 ?
