Who is rainboy?

I see rainboy with his weird strategy (starting from hardest problem) in almost every contest. I just want to ask if he is some strong competitor(LGM) in disguise? Just out of curiosity and nothing else. What do you think will be his rating if he writes contest seriously?

He made the USA Training Camp last year and usually scores amongst the top few in the USACO contests. You can see those to get an idea about his skill level (I'd estimate high IGM range?).

Probably he is serious and his skills are little bit unstable.

Haha right, glad you mentionned it, following rainboy performance at every contest is so much fun, always some suspense. A few contests ago he was top 40 in a contest by just solving the last 2 problems...then both his solutions didnt pass some obsure tests (like test 40 or something)...and he finished with rank 10000th ( because he never solves problems A, B, or C in contests). Also note that note that he chooses to code eveverything in pure C, instead of using the C++ libraries to save time. He is definetely a very strong coder who doesnt care about his codeforces ranking like all of us do;) Whoever he is, I love his style

He's one of the few guys who actually prove :

  1. Rating doesn't matter as long as you practice : He literally solves just the toughest ones in the contest even if he has time for easy ones during the contest but he won't solve it.

  2. Language doesn't matter : He codes in just a C language. People fight over which is better for CP, C++ or Java or Python but no one mentions C.

I guess he has highest "Problems Average Rate" on code forces whose submissions are also more
