Codeforces 5 years!
Immortal list of supporters

Codeforces was launched by me in January of 2010 in order to make life of algorithm and programming lovers more interesting and complete. I focused on three areas, which are being developed to the present day: contests (rounds and championships), social network (communication: blogs, comments, votes) and trainings.

The first version of Codeforces was written by me in the second half of 2009, shortly after the launch of the problem preparation service called Polygon. It quickly became clear that Codeforces requires large investments of time and effort. Constant growth of audience, interest in the competition rounds, and my confidence in usefulness of programming contests — that's the source of my inspiration from the start of Codeforces.

Five years is a considerable period of time and a symbolic date. The Codeforces team will be grateful and appreciate if you find the opportunity to congratulate us on the anniversary and make a donation to the future of Codeforces. Even the small amount can make a big difference.

The raised funds will be used to reward our contest authors and our problem coordinator, Maxim Zlobober Akhmedov, who does an incredible work preparing each round.

I would recomend to post here bitcoin address. I don't have large amount but I'm sure that some guys here mined a lot in 2009) Probably, somebody is so generous to share notable sum in bitcoins but too lazy to convert them to Visa/PayPal.

When I have nothing to do, I open Codeforces, then I've got pretty much things to do. It's a great hobby to contemplate solutions and read editorials. All those contests and editorials are really helpful. Thank you, and congratulations!

        I met the same problem, but managed to donate at last. Since I don't know what happend, I'll just write down what I did.

        I chose VISA and US dollar.

        1. Visited Yandex and my card was rejected with the message like "over payment limitation".
        2. Tried Paypal and got a Russian form like you.
        3. But, when I touched the top dropdown, it changed into an English one.
        4. Hit the donate button, and my card was rejected again with the message like "we couldn't handle you request."
        5. Bought very cheap goods on Google Play with my card.
        6. Tried paypal again, and passed system test.

        I don't think this would help you so much, but I wish.

        Instead of clicking visa/master card, you can click paypal. Then you can input your card info and donate without registering/signing in. The form is in English, and no other issues.

    U never grow up because when U have 16 years old codeforces is 5 years ...... and when U have 21 years old codeforces is 10 years ...... and when U have 26 years old codeforces is 15 years ...... It works via PayPal for me. On the first page which is in Russian you simply need to choose payment method and currency, I think.

P.P.S. Just wanted to say I'm really thankful to CF though currently I rarely participate here at all. CF was my way to learn Java speedily... :)

Last year, we (UTokyo) won Silver Medal at ICPC World Finals partly thanks to this site (I have solved more than 1000 problems here), so I'm thinking of donating 10% of my share of the prize ($4500 / 3) to "buy" the exclusive T-shirt...

    In some parts of the system we store submissions packed by bits and we laid 28 bits for submission.id that means I hope it doesn't exceed 268435455 :)

As soon as I knew about this I helped and urged my coders fellow to do the same. This kind of projects should not only survive, but grow in every aspect: participants, servers, quality.

I wanna thank you guys for starting this big project and effectively increasing today's coders skills, hardly can imagine the amount of time and resources it takes!!, I am sure we will have this project ongoing, as people realize about the importance of it.

    I think there are no more than 100 T-shirts. So they put a limit on donations. These limits are not for $450 and $1000 buddies 'cause they donated a lot and they deserve ordering a T-shirt for them.

Feels rather weird to wish a site happy birthday.

I just noticed something. Repeatedly using "plus all previous rewards" isn't a good idea. What it means is if 1st category gives you x, 2nd category will also give you x, 3rd will give you 2x, 4th will give you 4x ....

In other words, "tourist of support" gets 8 badges of honor.

And my sincerest thanks to Mike and everyone else who has put their time and energy into making Codeforces the wonderful place it is.

The funny thing is that all of the last donators have a badge (which I believe is only obtainable with a multiple of 15), meaning that this number was either achieved completely coincidentally, or someone planted it a while before.

On a more serious note, this sum was collected in just 5 days, which in my eyes is a fantastic display of how valuable this resource is to the audience it accumulated. Congratulations on the anniversary!

    Maybe some of them donate by Russian Rubles and dollar changes his value almost daily and when Rubles converted to dollars maybe you lose or gain some dollars so this number almost 13335 or 13340

I am more likely to take part in it if the contest is held on weekend. Because I am more than tired to have class when taking it at midnight or before dawn. So it is less efficient to have class.
