I want to delete my account for privacy reasons, or at the very least change my username/display name to something random. I can't find a way to do this. I messaged the guy who runs CF over a month ago (since this was recommended in an old thread about deleting your account) to do it but has received no answer.
Anyone with the power to do it is free to do so at any time without further confirmation.
I found some threads about it while googling but saw no better answer than to message CF admins.
Hope someone can help me out here.

Seems like the ability to delete an account should be a basic feature of any website, so in the absence of such a feature I was hoping someone could manually delete my account.
The guy who runs CF might just be very busy or flooded with messages.
I don't understand why this post is getting down voted either. Isn't it very reasonable to ask for account deletion when I have serious privacy concerns?

try not to post CP on CP websites from next time to avoid falling in such situations.
Not having the ability delete accounts causes very bad incentives as well. I'm sure I could get my account deleted by posting illegal stuff. So in the absence of such a feature and in the presence of serious privacy concerns, I would be heavily incentivized to do that. This is not any form of veiled threat, I'm just saying it's both very strange and problematic for me to be unable to take down my account.

I have made this account to join a contest and no longer need it, I want to delete this account because it doesnt have any reason to exist and i dont want my email linked to a website i wont visit for probably the rest of my life, isnt this a valid reason to delete an account?
A commenter mentioned if the admin doesnt respond what do we expect from the community? To bring it to the devs attention, if many people interact with this post it might reach the devs.
The amount of downvotes on these requests is absurd and downvoted for no apparent reason at that, makes reddit's and twitter's userbase look way better in comparison.
