I mean, NOBODY managed to fullsolve day 2 p3. Also there are only 2 full scores on day 2 p1 and they both are from chinese. I think they did well, but not in the usual grandiose "1-2-3-4 600 points each" way

You really should've not claimed that an "irony", because turns out that you not only didn't think that this blog is dumb enough to not post it, but you also thought that this blog is FUNNY enough to post it.
Who has fu**ing tell you that no ak means bad performance?
Why don't you go and got an ak? if you can't then don't say sth like this...
And old Chinese saying goes, "both winning and losing are common in competing". There's no reason to blame those who tried their best but didn't do well finally.
What's more, actually the China team has done quite well in IOI this year — you can't find any country performed better than it. Compared with themselves' performance last year, they just performed a little worse than that, which was almost perfect.
By the way, if you've read the last problem of Day 2, you may find the reason why nobody solved it. At least for me, the problem was an extremely hard constructive problem. So I guessed that no one would solve it during the contest, and that was true.
