Should AtCoder videos be in English?

Hello,

One thing I like about AtCoder is the post contest videos. For example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nXyz3oUEidc.
Unfortunately they are in Japanese. I think they would have more impact if they were in English.
What do you think?

They can be in whatever language the creator of the video decides to make it in. Not every video is for you. Let's say we made all videos in Japanese or any other language in English, because there are more English speakers. See the problem? Now there are no videos for people speaking that language. They already make English editorials and there are about a million and a half other resources in English.

    1. I'm not asking for myself but for the general community.
    2. I'm not asking that all Japenese videos now be made in English. That would be so dumb.
    3. I'm well aware that diversity is important and that any language should be protected. But that's not the point here.
    4. There are not that many high quality CP videos out there. I think AtCoder videos are quite unique in their quality and level.
    5. I'm not talking about editorials or other ressources but about videos.
    6. AtCoder has already expanded its audience with its website which supports both Japanese and English. Maybe it's time to do the same for the videos.
    7. This is only a suggestion and I would like to receive useful comments.

      "AtCoder has already expanded its audience with its website which supports both Japanese and English. Maybe it's time to do the same for the videos."

      This is just super entitled. "You've already given me 5 dollars, maybe you should give me 500." There's a giant different between translating problems and an editorial into English and making a 4 hour video explaining everything.

      When you visit the English version of the website, tell me, do you see any ads? Perhaps a paid service? No? So are you perhaps willing to pay for someone who speaks English and Japanese to translate the videos?

      This entire post is just super entitled.

They are already doing a great favour by providing an editorial in English to us.

    Do you really thing it's a favor?

    If they are making English editorials, it is probably to attract more CP people to their contests.

      Since I don't have to pay for anything, not even seeing an ad on their website to access those resources, yes, I do.
