Третья и последняя в этом сезоне командная интернет-олимпиада состоится завтра, 3 декабря 2023 года в 13:00 (по Московскому времени). Приглашаем всех принять в ней участие!

Как и планировалось, уровень сложности задач в последней интернет-олимпиаде будет несколько выше, чем в первых двух, поэтому мы надеемся, что олимпиада послужит в том числе неплохой тренировкой перед ВКОШП. Тем не менее, это не значит, что менее опытным участникам нет смысла принимать в ней участие: задач много (снова 12), каждому найдется что порешать :)

Продолжительность олимпиады, как и всегда – 5 часов. Не забудьте зарегистрироваться на цикл командных интернет-олимпиад в этом сезоне перед началом олимпиады. Обратите внимание, что для участия в командных олимпиадах нужно зарегистрировать именно команду. Команда может содержать от 1 до 3 человек.

Ссылка на регистрацию команд доступна из данного анонса, а также на основном сайте интернет-олимпиад. Всю дополнительную информацию, а также расписание всех предстоящих командных интернет-олимпиад можно посмотреть на той же страничке.

Условия появятся на сайте в момент начала олимпиады. Тестирующая система находится по адресу pcms.itmo.ru.

We are glad to invite you to follow NWERC 2023! The 2023 Northwestern Europe Regional Contest will be held from the 24th till 26th of November 2023. The contest will be held on the campus of the Delft University of Technology, Netherlands.

NWERC is an official regional contest of ICPC which draws students' teams from colleges and universities throughout all over the Northwestern part of Europe. The team that solves the most problems at the end of the contest qualifies for the ICPC World Finals 2024, which is planned on September 2024, Kazakhstan.

There will also be an online spectator contest for you to solve the problems alongside the contestants. The contest will start at 10:30 CET on Sunday, November 26th. You can register at https://spectator.nwerc.eu/.

В Nov/24/2023 17:35 (Moscow time) состоится Educational Codeforces Round 158 (Rated for Div. 2).

Продолжается серия образовательных раундов в рамках инициативы Harbour.Space University! Подробности о сотрудничестве Harbour.Space University и Codeforces можно прочитать в посте.

Этот раунд будет рейтинговым для участников с рейтингом менее 2100. Соревнование будет проводиться по немного расширенным правилам ICPC. Штраф за каждую неверную посылку до посылки, являющейся полным решением, равен 10 минутам. После окончания раунда будет период времени длительностью в 12 часов, в течение которого вы можете попробовать взломать абсолютно любое решение (в том числе свое). Причем исходный код будет предоставлен не только для чтения, но и для копирования.

Вам будет предложено 6 или 7 задач на 2 часа. Мы надеемся, что вам они покажутся интересными.

Problem

We are glad to propose to you an exciting challenge “Deterministic Scheduling for Extended Reality over 5G and Beyond”, which is prepared by Huawei Wireless Product Line.

In this contest, we focus on a XR-service scheduling problem to maximize the total number of successfully transformed XR-data frames under specific transmission requirements. Extended reality (XR) is an umbrella term for different types of realities such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR), which can provide people with immersive experience. To achieve better user-experience, scheduling algorithm should be proposed to efficiently utilize the limited radio resources, e.g., time resource, frequency resource, and power resource. Due to several practical constraints, the scheduling task is a typical NP-hard problem.
