I accidentally ruined a round

I blacked out and completely forgot to set the timer for publishing a screencast, instead publishing it right away. I'm very sorry. My apologies to the authors and the whole community.

      technically it should be unrated but very irresponsible from such a high rated coder.And we all are unfortunate and unlucky considering the fact that it was surely unintentional from him and he can't do anything other than apologizing.

      I guess it doesn't matter how many people watched the video. Cheating is cheating right. If the contest becomes unrated, then it will be a loss for all the people who solved on their own :(

    "Will suffer a lot"

    How much will you suffer? It's like you participated in a virtual contest. Rating is just a number, if you got + delta this round what makes you think that you can't get + delta next rounds? Remember that this is ELO rating, and it will correct itself over time, so the affect of this round getting unrated will vanish after a few more contest participations.

            Well in my opinion those people are stupid and CP is not for them. You are not a real programmer if you do CP just for your resume, and i would have 0 respect for that kind of person. This behavior is also what motivates cheaters to cheat.

            Also i was responding to the comment, i didn't say the statement "No-one cares about ratings" although i believe that's how CP should be.

            Also by "not caring" i didn't mean that you shouldn't practice or try to get higher rating. i meant that you shouldn't suffer by something stupid such as "losing rate" or in this case, not getting the + delta you would have lost if the round was unrated.

              Having a good rating in codeforces helps in getting resumes shortlisted and reach the interview round after that only the problem solving skill someone learns by doing cp helps so the cheaters get caught during interview anyway but still a lot of people only do cp to get a good job and that's a fact.
